Hey everyone, it's finished!

I wanted to retain as much as possible from her iconic scene sunbathing, so yeah, there's a doggo on the left =D

I didn't make a version of her with the glasses on, because due to the angle of her head, being slightly tilted backwards, the glasses just looked weird (they were basically covering half of her eyes, but couldn't really see much of her eyes as well). So I placed them on the table. And it was surprisingly fun to make the drink lol. I know it's a weird thing to say, since those "props" are usually not the focus of the image, but it was actually fun to do!

It was a very cool scene to make, the original scene (and the character) had a lot of "it's sooo hard to keep my figure looking that good", so I wanted to be as faithfull as possible to that attitude.

Hope you guys like it!

there's a lot more feet on the nsfw version =D

You are the "Master of feet" .Sorry for my poor English.

Peter Chan

thank you! I imagine you'll like the teasing of the nsfw version as well then lol I liked doing her body because it allowed me to make something a big different, since she's thinner and has some really "bouncy" boobs. Actually it was too much to the sides with the bikini so I had to adjust a bit before coloring the image. And yeah, it was actually a jewelry chain that line crossing her body. It's the most impractical bikini ever lol. When I saw the original scene I was like "what the hell is that?" and then on the next cut it was close enough that I could see it was actually a tiny chain lol

I didn't exactly watch the series. What I did was: read the character biography. Got all the episodes (since it's only 20 something + movie) and skipped to her scenes in particular to see what she acted like, scenes that could serve as inspiration to build my on, etc. For her I thought about 3 scenes, the one at the couch from the movie, where she's going all drama queen about where her 20s were. This one, and the dress scene (where she gets sort of kidnapped). The dress scene I had to scrap (even though she looks majestic in the dress), because since her hair and everything are very different, it wasn't looking enough like her in my style. And this could lead to "eh, it doesn't really look like her", which is not an ideal situation. So I got a bit of inspiration from the couch scene and how she's brushing her hair to the back while complaining about stuff, and applied to the sunbathing scene. I often don't have enough time to actually see everything that the character being drawn is about. But I do my research to make sure the scene is fitting =D

Lee

why thank you! Sicne my style is often different from the source material, I think it's important to keep as much as possible from the characters and scenes to make sure people can relate to it =D

Lee

lol that's a good way to see it =D

Ah, I have been looking forward to this, the pose from the WIP was so very alluring and inviting and particularly sensual with all of the curving and twisting of her body. The overall colours are gorgeous here, the floor-boards look rather purple-ish but with other colours stained into them and with a lovely sense of texture, the alternating light and dark green bed looks terrific too and really pops against the purple floor. The texture of the bed looks very comfy and the little details of her body sinking into it are excellent. And that translucent rim around the bed with it's shiny surface looks gorgeous! The warm fur tones of the dog to the side just look so damned fluffy! And the multiple shades of brown make it look especially realistic. And of course the various props off to her side are very nicely done too and yes, that drink does look pretty good! The lighting is stunning with that sheer divide in light and dark, the contrast between her face and left shoulder/chest in shadow with the rest of her body being bathed in this warm sunlight is simply gorgeous! The face itself looks lovely and I adore all of the detail in the hair, the subtle shine to it gives it so much definition and I love how her hand brushes some of it away. The texture of the skin all over her body is exquisite and the rendering of her anatomy is equally wonderful. I think one of my favourite parts is actually her raised arm with the warm light and shadow running adjacent along her bicep, with an extra dark core shadow separating the two tones. The contrast there is very striking and I love the textures. The shadow that her raised leg casts onto the lower one is great too, separating the two legs very nicely, and that brighter rim-light on the inside of the raised leg makes it pop from the cast shadow even more. The actual rendering and definition of her neck, collarbones, hands, knees, calves and feet are all exceptional and the subtle crease through her stomach as she bends forward is lovely! The warm light bathing her breasts and stomach is such a lovely highlight and the two textures for each bra cup is a great touch with the shiny white and the more matte brown. I especially like the core shadow running through the white section that separates the brighter and darker tones. And the detail put into that golden chain that runs along her body is insane! With the golden hoops having such a gorgeous shine. Truth be told, when I saw the WIP, I didn't know what the line that ended up being the chain was for since I have 0 familiarity with this character, I thought it was going to be a long, winding scar 😹 Absolutely beautiful work on this piece! There's honestly more that I could gush on and on about and most of it relates to the lighting contrasts, the radiant warmth that shines on Faye's body and of course the actual painting of her magnificent body itself! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

This particular scene made for prime material. And you nailed it! Do you do research for this one(as in watch the whole series)?

Matthew Richson

Totally outstanding my friend! She not only looks awesome, but all the little side details really make it that much better. SO happy you have no idea of how not to do awesome work (at least none that I could ever tell.lol)!! XD

Draven Shadow

Really great work with this one Krys. Nice to finally see your version of her as well. Guess the other versions of this will have to be considered the director's cut for that scene. πŸ˜† Great stuff Krys. Thanks again.
