Discord for Patrons!

some people reported they had to "re-link" discord with their account in order to refresh and get invided. So it might be needed to do that for the people that didn't get invided automatically

Hey, our Patreon is already linked with our Discord Account, but we don't see your discord in our list -- and when we searched krysdecker it didn't come up. Are you sure you don't have to send out an invite or something? Usually, we've gotten an invite, or one has been posted in the membership area of the person's patreon.

There's only one thing that I wouldn't allow sharing nsfw art of other artists, because 99% those are rewards of their own patreons ... which would basically be piracy =D. While I'm not naive that it doesn't happen already on multiple discords, it's certainly not ethical from my part to have that on one that I own. I certainly wouldn't like if a fellow artist allowed my patreon rewards to be shared freely on their own discords. Suggestions as in "draw this or draw that" doesn't work because people would get more frustrated than anything, because it's simply not viable to have hundreds of people suggesting different things to be drawn, and we already have the polls here. But the meme room and chat are solid suggestions =D

Yeah, that's being voiced by others as well, so it's definitely an interesting area

yeah, I think for discord is a more "informal" interaction instead of the messages.

I did consider using the streaming feature of it. My only reservation was that they had a limit of 10 users per stream. Now with the whole corona crysis the limit is 50, which is more reasonable, but I'm not sure if that will be the case on the long run. But it might be worth to give it a shot.

Fan hub. For art, suggestions, discussions, inspiration and all that jazz. I know Psudonym uses their discord to announce streams (that they do daily).

Discord is okay. We don't use it a lot. The best use of it is more of a real-time interaction between fans of your work, probably. And for connecting to some what racier content than Patreon allows in some areas, it seems.

I never use Discord for arts so I don't know what is done. But I'd say, more of your "wip" while you work on it ? If it doesn't take too much time from you and doesn't break your inspiration of the moment, of course. Using the stream feature to make your stuff while some people are watching you ? Idk honestly, just brainstorming :D

Somewhere we can post our own art to get feedback on it. From the community mostly, not to say you have to critique everything we’d post.
