I really love her face expression, she looks like she really enjoys her time for herself before going back to business. And a very good choice to go for a more oldfashioned underwear, it suits her very well and gives it a feel that she would actually wear that. Great job, keep up the good work. I'm a patreon for about 18 months or so I think and you constantly improved over that time without losing your style and you impressed me in more than one instances, even with characters I wasn't that interested in the first place but you made them work for me!

Thanks! It was really fun to try to recreate what a "personal room" would look like based on the rest of the game. So I got a lot of references from both dressing tables and the game to make sure it would be something that fitted the story. And one of the initial things I did was her face. I'm still struggling in "porting" anime faces to my style, so they retain a bit of the original lines but not too much so that it looks off compared to the rest of the image. So it was the first thing I tried to "get right". The hair was also a bit of a challenge to make sure it retained her original hair style but also something in the process of getting done. I also spent quite some time doing the elements in the background, to make sure they matched the rest of the image, since they are not "things at the back" It was quite challenging, but I really liked the end result =)

Thanks! I got a lot of references of "classic dressing tables" lol. I didn't want to make it overly complex, since ingame the furniture tends to be really "basic", but I also wanted it to be something a little fancier to match her status.

This whole piece is so lush. I am digging the furniture as I have a bedroom set handed down from my grandmother of that era, and always liked the lines of it. The way you layered the light from the windows onto the walls, and the gradients on those are sweet. The underwear is so classy too, and the light on her skin. I really like the skin tones here, very warm and match the mood of the room.

Oh this is just beautiful! Love all of the background textures with the different kinds of wood for the mirror and desk, with different patterns and colours, as well as the metallics in the mirror frame, her little bottles of perfume and hair brush and of course her crown. The engravings, details, overlapping shapes and different metallic colours and textures all look great. The purple, velvety cushion she's sitting on too looks very nice, as do the dimples and ripples in the material and various light and dark tones. The overall colours and lighting for the background are also very appealing and warm, a lovely setting for Edelgard and it really helps her white hair pop! As for Edelgard herself, first looking at her reflection, I love the bright rim-lighting on her shoulders and arm, they're quite striking, accentuate her features very well and really make her stand out from the background colours. Her face looks terrific too with gorgeous features and I love her pale purple eyes. The hair from this angle is gorgeously detailed and intricate and the braided ponytail running down the centre of her chest, resting between the subtly shining material of her bra is very nice. Speaking of which, I love her bra in both angles, the material and colour are gorgeous, as are the patterns and all of the little details, my favourites being the clasps and folds on her back. Looking then at the full view of her, I really like the lighting with a soft, warm light brightening all of her back, with her left shoulder/arm, the left planes of her torso and her legs shrouded in a shadow that contrasts very well with her back. The subtle rendering and textures of the anatomy of her back, such as her shoulder blades, all look exquisite and I really like the deep crease in the centre of her lower back. Her legs too with the deep occlusion shadow where her thigh/calf bend and rest on her foot are great too, as are all of the little details on the sole of her foot, the creases in the skin and deep shadows where her toes bend. And of course her underwear and hair look marvellous too from this angle, I especially like the circular, swirling hair on the back of her head, with strands wrapping over it as they sweep around from the front of her head, I also love the little strands of hair that fall across her upper back too and wrap over the anatomy of her body. Really beautiful work with this piece, as intricately detailed as always with such warm and appealing colours and atmosphere 😻.
