Vanessa VanCleef - preview
Added 2020-07-24 03:36:35 +0000 UTCHey everyone! First of all, no, she didn't join Overwatch! I know I said the 2nd pin-up of this month was going to be an Overwatch Summer themed image, but it turns out the summer event is only going to happen early in August, so I don't want to risk making an overwatch image ~2 weeks in advance and possibly miss the opportunity of making one of a cool skin they release.
So in order to make the timing a bit better, I'm switching positions with one pin-up I had planned for August: Vanessa VanCleef!
Turns out, there's not a lot of fanart of her, so I wanted to do my version of her in a mix of rogue/"swashbuckler" theme. One place that I always loved the idea from wow was the Deadmines/Booty bay with all those makeshift buildings with rests of boats and planks and everything just hammered together into "something".
So I thought to make her in a gheto throne, where she just (conveniently) take out the heavy parts of her outfit and just thrown them around and sit in her chair and drink whatever was left on the bottle. And I can definitely imagine short after that a stupid brute thug interrupts her with that "hey .. boss" to get her attention into something important happening.
Anyway, big description aside, hope you guys don't mind me switching the drawings around (there's still Mara Jade voyeur after this one btw), and hope you guys like it!

Great art, as always, but I still hate that Legion made her alive and Amber Kearnen dead. It should be the other way around!

You find zillions of fanarts of Jaina, Sylvannas and the more famous ones, but the rest, there's very little of them =o

Love the angle and pose that we view Vanessa at too with the foreshortening of the legs and inward sinking of her stomach. I always enjoy arms put in asymmetrical poses and I like how she still had her little drinking glass between her fingers. Her face looks wonderful thus far too, I like her cross expression and her nose is just adorable. The messy hair looks very cute and sexy too and I personally always love those kinds of gloves that stretch up the entire arm. I'm definitely looking forward to this one, the background will be a lot of fun to see with all of it's details and textures, while Vanessa already looks so gorgeous (just noticed the little cushion she has, makes sense to try and make this chair a bit more comfy 😂) Great work! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

There's a lot of fine-looking women in WoW (I'd be happy to see a Yrel voyeur or something like that #Yreldidnothingwrong (Lightbound are payback for the Iron Horde imo lol)
