Miranda Lawson - Voyeur

I really liked the idea of just having they go at each other right there, so I thought it would be an interesting scene ;)
Man faces are still surprisingly annoying to do, but I'm getting a bit more used to it, so I hope you guys like it!

Thank you! When I did the pin-up, I already had a "possible voyeur" in mind, so I thought it was a really fitting sequence for the scene. It was also a very different angle, that still makes sense (I'm not much of a fan of doing acrobatic angles lol) About the colors, it's really tricky to work with red colors because the image can get too intense on the eyes, so I thought It would be good to have some darker and lighter tones to break the pattern a bit. And considering I usually avoid doing down-up shots, I'm really happy with the result, specially on their faces =D

But I have to say I really liked the result of this one, since it's similar enough to Shepard, but he doesn't have that deathly stare the sucks the soul out of people =D

I was so looking forward to seeing the final colours and lighting as I loved them in the original Miranda pinup, suffice to say, they're just as beautiful here. The way the orange/yellow lighting shines on the underside of each of those dark strips across the window looks terrific, as do the warm colours through the background as well. The way that lighting affects both of the characters is amazing too with the bright rim-lighting running along the edges of their faces, arms and Miranda's breast and leg, really popping alongside their skin tones and accentuating the shapes of their features/bodies. Something I really like is the contrast in rendering on both characters too, Shepard seems to have rougher, more painterly textures across his body while Miranda is smoother and softer. I really like that more painterly rendering on Shepard with his arm being my favourite part of him with how the orange lighting and shadows work together, as well as the way his shoulder and upper arm link together. His face looks terrific too, with the mix of the orange edge-lighting and the profile view of her face being especially striking. With Miranda, a detail I really like is how there's a subtle reflection alongside her arm as it presses against the window, with the arm itself being beautifully rendered with this darker, reddish tint to her elbow that I like. Her hair is beautiful with the detail to it and it's rippling strands as they sweep over her head to fall down to the other side, with the edge-lighting really popping against the black hair. Her face and the skin across her whole body is so well done with smooth textures and definition to her anatomy, I particularly like where her arm connects back to her body, with the bright edge-lighting accentuating where it overlaps the very top of her breast. I also love the textures along her butt, thigh and calf and how along the top of her calf, the yellow light bleeds down and fades into her skin tones, the textures of the bottom of her foot and toes and how they overlap and are foreshortened look excellent too. The dress as well looks marvellous with the rippling folds spreading out over her body with a strong contrast between the lightest and darkest areas. Honestly, I cannot praise this painting enough! It's so full of detail and absolutely perfect lighting, atmosphere and rendering. Simply magnificent work on this one! πππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
