Diomedes(commission work)
Added 2024-05-23 09:00:06 +0000 UTCI drawn Diomedes. My first full render Iliad fanart was Diomedes! I was very happy to be able to painting him in commissions.
I like Achilles and Patroclus among the characters in the Iliad (super obvious lol), but I think Diomedes is charming too!
I read several Iliad commentaries and reread the Iliad for this commission work. The Iliad is still wonderful. It is my favorite of the ancient Greek classics. By the way, I also read the Epic of Gilgamesh, so I may be doodling Gilgamesh and Enkidu one of these days.
