Rough Seas
Added 2025-05-27 23:55:44 +0000 UTCA very rough sketch plus base colours for a contribution for Mer-may! Hoping to get this done tomorrow in full but I wanted to get some colours done overnight so I can stew on it! Also have a failed sketch too that didn't quite work out. I liked it but it felt too unfocused so i threw it out in favour of a new one after studying some orcas breaching.
Yes that is the Orca from Diving for Pearls. I've been half thinking about doing a little Beni origin story too and fleshing out this world a little that's made up of mostly mer-people and scattered humans.
