Modern AU Break down

Their relationship is very sweet at the start when they bond over shared interests. They eventually transition into a friends with benefits situation before actually dating.
My brain ran a thousand miles a minute when it came to the modern world they inhabit. Narakyian probably deal with a lot of prejudice in that world and so he's nervous to even approach her at the start.
