I imagine he knocked her boat over one evening by accident (he thought it was edible) and he swam her back to shore because he felt bad. They have sort of a long distance relationship, he'll often migrate to breed but head back to see her in the more summery months. Her name is Susan and she's a fisherwoman by trade. :D The shark guy can't talk so she's nicknamed him Beni or more often, good boy.
