When we first started coming to Zipolite, we didnβt get it.
Every night weβd watch the shirtless parade of men heading toward Playa del Amor just as the sun dipped below the horizon. And honestly? We thought the show was over.
Dinner time, right?
Wrong. π
Turns out, the real show starts after the dinner rush.
Letβs break it down: To reach Playa del Amor, you climb over the rocky trail behind Salmastro at the far east end of Playa Zipolite. Itβs easy enoughβeven in flip flopsβand once you crest the hill, youβre greeted by a clothing-optional cove full of cheeky swimmers, golden-hour nudes, and yesβ¦ a bit of mischief in the air. π΄π₯
During the day, itβs a chill, carefree beach with a mix of locals and gay tourists. But after sunset? The families clear out, the beers start flowing, and itβs usually 95-99% gay men left behind.
Ohβand then comes the fire show. It usually starts off pretty tameβthink Instagram-friendly twirls with speedos still on. But by the end? Letβs just say those flames arenβt the only things heating up. π₯π
Once the crowd is properly warmed up, the entire beach shifts leftβpast the big rockβand turns into one massive free-for-all. Youβll see everything here. We mean everything. π
The best part? Thereβs zero pressure. You can get wild. You can just watch. You can skinny dip under the stars and disappear into the shadowsβ¦ or make new friends and see where the night takes you. π
On peak nights like New Yearβs Eve, the Nudist Festival, or Zipolite Pride (Diverso), it can swell to 50, 100, even more. Bodies. Boys. Candles. Bliss.
Now we totally get why itβs called Playa del Amor.
And yesβwe captured some after-dark heat for this Patreon drop:
π₯ Skinny dips under the moonlight
π₯ Wild crowd shots we canβt post anywhere else
π₯ Steamy behind-the-scenes from the fire show
π₯ And usβ¦ with absolutely zero clothes π
Only on Patreon.
