Out of Sight
An Elmore Leonard adaptation directed by Steven Soderbergh, and starring George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Ving Rhames, and Don Cheadle. A career bank robber (Clooney) falls for a US Marshal (Lopez), while trying to make one last big score.
Midnight Run
A bounty hunter (Robert De Niro) tries to stay ahead of the mafia and the FBI in his pursuit of a former mafia accountant (Charles Grodin). A crime comedy and a road trip movie, and considered by some to be one of the best comedies of the 80s. Also starring Dennis Farina, Yaphet Kotto, and Joe Pantoliano.
Nobody
A mild-mannered family man with a shady past (Bob Odenkirk) extracts revenge on the people who robbed his house and finds himself the target of a Russian mob boss. Part of Odenkirk’s post-Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul career renaissance. Also starring Connie Nielsen, Christopher Lloyd, and RZA.
