Real Genius
The late great Val Kilmer stars in this surprisingly good natured comedy as a rebellious and intelligent tech college student who is tricked into working on weapons.

This would be an encore as this was one of the earliest movies EVER on SoC. The classic 1932 gangster picture about the rise and fall of mobster Tony Camonte in 1920s Chicago. Starring Paul Muni, George Raft, Ann Dvorak, and a brief appearance by Boris Karloff! Directed by Howard Hawks (Bringing Up Baby, His Girl Friday, The Big Sleep), written by Ben Hecht (Twentieth Century, Nothing Sacred, His Girl Friday), and produced by the infamous Howard Hughes.

Hear me out... I kinda like this one, and its slowly gaining a reputation among cineasts. Although it may be near goddamn impossible to follow the plot, the inventive and unusual action sequences (including the full size destruction of a 747) and pounding score are going to worm their way into your brain.

An ice breaker my workplace uses a lot of posing the question "what movie will you stop and watch to completion if you happen to come upon it when channel surfing?" And my answer is always Real Genius.
