Testing a lot of new stuff/enhancements... including:
* ability to give Alice multiple shards (1, 10, All)
* ability to use items in combat (elixirs)
* beginnings of an object destruction system; vehicles can now be destroyed by slamming & throwing (when structural integrity falls below 1% it is considered destroyed) -- note: descriptions are limited, and the smash options are still not coded. (will add basic striking options: punch, kick, etc. once I determine the damage formula translation)
* work has been started on a power upgrade system, the UI isn't ready yet, but I hope to add the feature soon.
* still converting old locations into the room system needed for housing, shops are done, but some features may require the new-UI branch to be properly implemented; work on the housing system is slow going, since there were so many cross dependent features in the old-UI (travel, encounters, housing, and locations are all deeply intertwined) I'm trying not to break the game while adding this long awaited feature
There have also been many bugfixes and calculation refinements.
Many other enhancements are going through planning (including a grappling system that will eventually replace the car encounter options with a more universal object lifting/throwing/etc. system that transcends the in/out-of combat limitations of the old-UI branch. The thought is, whether you want to hit someone with a car, or hit a car with someone, you should be able to with just a few clicks and a lot of strength.)
There's almost enough here to release another public build... should have it out next week. It looks like we're going to hit engine v0.27 slightly before housing is ready... which might push that feature back to somewhere around v0.272
