Funny that I should watch this after American Fiction, which is also about an artist purposely creating bad art only for it to become a big success. I also remember a post on forum I used to visit that summed up the post-movie SpongeBob episodes as having "Wacky Delly Syndrome." I figured that was a term that would have had wider usage, but I guess not.
