That answer about not checking fan things, because she respects the world they created was sooo sweet and thoughtful.

I'm a bit late to the party, so you might not see this, but regarding your questions on whether or not they rehearse. They do rehearse the songs they chose, their opening song and their live service and their duet. But he leads all his guest to name a song at some point during the show and then puts them on the spot to sing it. It has felt genuine to me everytime for every episode I've seen. There could be some that know ahead of time of course, but I've definitely seen guests who struggle with the request because they dont remember much of the lyrics or the exact melody ect. But it's a pretty open secret for anyone who has actually watched the show, so many of the guests might already know it's going to happen and just prepare another song.

2024-12-04 18:43:18 +0000 UTCI think the jacket over the legs is more for the people on set rather than the cameras, because most sets are actually quite elevated (as are the stages on live shows) so it became a habit, or tradition if you will, for them to just be extra cautions about it.
