Nabiu - 1/30/2025 (Pilot Production Insights Part 2)

There were a few significant parts of the Episode added late in production.
The 'Karoto Prologue' was made much later and was originally going to be a standalone video.
But I added it to the pilot for 3 reasons:
The pilot had a slow start, so some mysterious action would help it out.
Nabiu is the main character, it didn't seem right showing Karoto, by himself, on the first public release of the series (At that point in production I hadn't made any Nabiu YouTube Shorts)
Youtube's algorithm does not like original content, so I needed the first longform upload of Nabiu to be a complete project.
The original boss battle scene was kind of bland; it didn't have Nabiu and Karoto trying to protect Grandma or have the Leyline Lycan cartoonishly moving through the house to control the appliances!
Those parts of the fight were also added late in production.

What I especially liked about the Karoto prologue is that it instantly got me hooked. Him showing up later in the episode to tag along with Nabiu also felt natural since we got to see a bit of him prior to that moment.
