And for the last little tidbit of Nabiu Trivia… Originally, Nabiu was a boy. I actually changed her pretty far into the pilot's production.
I didn't change her design, dialogue or anything else about her. I wanted female representation of a character that isn't sexualized or a Mary Sue.
Also here are my first digital doodles of the characters, back from 2020! Some of you spotted the Karoto easter egg in the Baby Pokemon Battle Royale! In that video he has his old design.

I love creators like you who try to make character as human and likeable as possible. I don't think I'd want anything to change from the pilot. I think its absolutely fantastic
