This episode hurt as a Clois fan aswell as made me love them more. lol I love that Clark and Lois are having a love triangle with Clarkβ¦. π although Zod is pretending to be the Blur right now, The Blur and Lois relationship started be did Lois wanted to know who this mystery superhero was and she feels compassion for the loneliness that the Blur faces and she wants to be that confidant. Chloe was a lot of the audience in this episode. Clark canβt ask Lois to betray the Blur and expect her to actually do it. Unfortunately he set this whole thing in motion. I feel Clark eyes really was opening when Lois said she understands why the Blur wonβt reveal his identity to her, even though he probably wants to. Itβs amazing without Lois knowing the Blur (up until weeks ago) is Clark already feels this pull, protection and connection to him. To me this episode is an example of showing me as a viewer why Clark and Lois are perfect together. Lois truly cares for Clark but there is something she is missing with the relationship. With The Blur she truly feels this pull towards him and feel like sheβs actually accomplishing something even without adding his face. She cares so much for him. Clark saying βAm I enoughβ¦β well thatβs difficult because Lois technically isnβt getting the WHOLE truth Clark. You merge Clark and Blur together you get the full package of who Lois has needed/wanted. It was pretty cleverly written.
