Unovan Rose Act 28

Walking up to her mother’s coffin, Rose let out a sigh. There were so many things that she wanted to say here, but the words refused to come out. She was an actress, damn it. This should be second nature to her. Yet, the things she wished to say eluded her mind and mouth.

"Mom, I hope you admire the person that I've become." Rose announced and blew a kiss to the coffin. Spinning around, she ignored the looks from onlookers. Instead, her focus was on her pokemon and companions. In that order.

*Is there anything we can do for you, Miss Rose?* Dragonite inquired and Rose shook her head. Shifting her focus over to May and Max, she was met with neutral expressions. Expected of this situation. Would be odd if it was somehow something different.

"I'm guessing that you want the dress back after this?" Max inquired, a grin forming on Rose’s face. While that would be nice (this was one of her dresses, after all), she had so many frocks back at her room that losing one wouldn't make a difference.

"I think it looks good on you. You can keep it." Rose cooed and shifted to the front. There, the funeral director was giving their last words and everyone looked to be just about ready to leave and head off to wherever it was they were going.

“Uh… yeah.” Max muttered, finding Rose’s gaze still hanging to him. Holding in a chuckle, it was clear what her intentions were. “So… what are your plans after this?”

Rose stared down at her lap. Splitting her gaze back between May and Max, she let a smile form on her face.

“I’m leaving tomorrow for Ochelupid City. There, I plan to pay respects to Haxorus’s former trainer and then it's back to work. On top of figuring out whatever the heck Zekrom wants with me.” Rose explained and was treated to a look from her human companions. Odd as that probably sounded, it was no less odder than anything she had done with them all those years ago. At least, the actress thought of it as such. Though, that could just be chalked up to the last year of events that had occurred.

“It was nice seeing you again, Rose.” May cooed and reached out to Max’s arm. Giving a wave, Rose waved back and watched the pair head in the direction of Pewter City. Shifting focus over to her pokemon, she motioned for them to follow.

“Sorry about the delay.” Rayquaza announced, craning her neck to meet the actress’s gaze. Rose shook her head. While she would’ve preferred Mrs Lord Sky Noodle to take Kyogre with her when she headed back to Hoenn, this worked just as well.

“Not at all.” Rose remarked and let out a sigh. While she knew her attention needed to be on Rayquaza, it had found its way over to Charizard and Chameleon. The former was adorned with their mega stone, while the latter had their tiara on.

“I’m guessing you have to go?” Rose cooed and Charizard nodded. Putting a claw on the mega stone, he switched forms.

*Yes. Charla is expecting me to get back as soon as possible. Though, she wanted to tear Damien limb to limb for the trouble he caused.* Charizard explained and Rose nodded, her attention turning to that of chameleon. Bending down as much as her bustle allowed here, that was surprisingly more than one would expect here.

“It was nice to meet you.” Rose cooed and shifted chameleon’s tiara ever so slightly. As she did so, a cocoon of light formed around the little flame pokemon. Rose stood back up, her focus shifting to her own pokemon.

*Is it even right to take her away from her father?* Haxorus inquired and Dragonite met their gaze. Goodra was not that far behind.

*No.* Goodra announced and watched their companions meet their gaze. While the temptation to argue was there, it wasn’t worth it. Especially as the cocoon shattered and revealed something unexpected. Pastel magenta scales proudly stand out, the yellow part of their body turning white. Draconic wings droop down, lace patterning for all to see. Reminiscent of that of a crinoline, it met at her chest. Horns twisting into a crown, innocent cerulean eyes stare out at Rayquaza.

“Oh my. A kurindon. Haven’t seen one of those in a couple centuries.” Rayquaza cooed and petted the newly born princess pokemon with her tail.

*Daddy?* Kurindon announced and felt her father's gaze shift over to her. Pulling his daughter in for a hug, Kurindon accepted the gesture.

*it'll be alright. I should be able to carry you, dear.” Mega Charizard X cooed and gave a wave with his free claw. Rose waved back, watching both parties fly off. Shifting her attention back to her own pokemon.

“Well, that was certainly a trip.” the actress announced, bringing with it nods from her pokemon…
