Unovan Rose Act 33A

“What do you mean… you’re the top billing for this particular performance?” Zekrom announced, taking care to not accidentally knock off his tiara. Staring into the vanity that Rose was seated at, a pretty lady stared back. He, on the other hand, looked a touch silly. Rose and Goodra did their best, but this was something that they would just need to work on in bits.
“Correct. Since this is the last performance of the year, the troupe decided that it would be best for me to be the star, Zekrom dear.” Rose cooed and Zekrom’s face turned light gray. Attempting to look away, all that accomplished was making him look even cuter. Perhaps at a future date, Rose could get him a purse and then his own makeup kit.
“I’m happy to hear that.” Zekrom answered as he calmed his nerves. The deep black pokemon was quite happy with the way that things were going. Which meant that things were about to be shaken up. One way or another. “Uh… is there anything that I need to watch out for?”
Rose raised a gloved hand to her chin.
“IT, mostly. Though, I can’t really think of a reason why she might show up.” Rose answered and let out a breath. IT or not, it would probably be a good idea for them to be on their guard. Getting up, care is taken to hug the deep black pokemon. Zekrom hugged back in almost ladylike fashion. Letting go, he watched the actress exit. Following right behind, he took care to close the door behind himself.
.
Pacing back and forth in front of the venue, Zekrom did his best to calm his nerves. They should be here. What could possibly be taking them so long? Had something come up and
*There you are, Zekrom.* Haxorus announced, bringing with them Dragonite and Goodra. Dressed in their usual attire, Zekrom held in his jealousy. It was just a little bit longer. Then it would be his turn to be dressed all fancy. *Are you ready to see Ms Rose's final performance for the year?*
Zekrom nodded. Of course he was ready. What a silly question to ask him, the prince, of all people. Yet, that didn't stop the butterfree from flapping about in his chest. There was nothing to worry about, right?
Approaching the theater, it would turn out that feeling was correct. A massive explosion ranging out, bringing with it the near destruction of the theater. Wood, stone and metal were thrown about, Zekrom and company just managing to avoid getting hit.
*Rose!* Haxorus screeched as they ran over. Trying their hardest to identify anything that looked like Ms Rose here, it was too early too tell. So, their attention turned to that of the wreckage. Perhaps by some chance the beloved actress had survived and was currently calling out for help. While they weren’t one to get their hands dirty, an exception could be made here. Especially if it meant the difference between life and death.
Ripping away chunks of the building, Haxorus and company did their best to carve a path towards the back end of the theater. Taking care to help remove as many people as possible, Rose eluded them at every turn. It was their wish that Rose would be safe at all costs. Perhaps that was a mistake in retrospect.
*Where is she?* Dragonite called out, just catching a glimpse of a tassel of all things passing by. Before they could call out to the source of said tassel, it had already floated off elsewhere.
*She has to be around here, somewhere, right?* Goodra added as they flipped over chunks of concrete. While they knew that Rose wasn’t under any of these, that didn’t change the fact that there was still a chance of her survival.
‘Indeed she is.’ a voice called out, but the source remained out of reach. As it would for the rest of this timeline. Try as these pokemon to find the source of the voice and/or any trace of their beloved Rose, they would come up empty.
.
Well before the events that would transpire could even occur, a woman opens her eyes. Dressed to the nines in that of a gorgeous crinoline, she was out of place amid the crowd of people that had gathered here to gawk at her. Stuck in the mud off to the side from the main path, this was by no means the most flattering of positions to be.
“Miss, are you alright?” a man with short brunette hair announced as he helped the woman up. Meeting her gaze, there was almost a regal aura to him. It reminded the woman of someone. Not that she could figure out what it might be. Oh well. The answer would likely come to her in time.
But it never did. The years flew on by, bringing with it love and eventually, a child. A far cry from her parents, that was to be expected. What wasn’t, was the news of claims that she had joined Team Rocket. True or not, it very much shoved a wedge between her and her daughter. A wedge that sadly could never be overcome. Even for someone who had cheated death before, the reaper eventually gets their due.
