Important announcement about the future of OStim
Added 2021-11-19 02:57:50 +0000 UTCGreetings all, today was scheduled to be the release of OSound and nexus upload of OProstitution. However there's been an unexpected turn of events that affects the future of OStim.
A few months ago if you recall, CE0, OSA and OSex's creator returned after 2 years. At that time CE0 endorsed the OStim project. I have not been in much contact with him since then. However, this morning he released a version of OSA that seems to intentionally stop the game and show an anti-piracy message. I attempted to contact ce0 through DMs, but did not receive a response. I offered some money from the OStim patreon to ce0 on the day we met, but he politely declined saying financial support was not needed. I also made it a point to never redistribute CE0's artwork or animations. However I greatly respect ce0's work and his rights to his work and will take this as a request to halt the OStim project.
As such I will be halting the OStim project and patreon until further notice. The usual monthly charge on Dec 1st will not happen. Patrons, see below for more info on the patreon itself.
Now what?
I will be taking a break from discord and social media in general for a few weeks. I will return after the hiatus after some time to consider everything. I'll hopefully return then with a new post detailing permissions and such around my mods as well as possibly some information about what I am personally going to pursue next creatively, so that fans of my work can follow me.
What about OSound. Also what about the rest of the patreon mods?
I fortunately finished this month's addon last night. I will uploaded it now to everyone as promised. I will unlock the OProstitution post so that anyone can DL it. I will unlock everything else when I return from hiatus and decide what to do with everything.

Patrons, you have made this project what it is today and I thank you for that. I will skip monthly payments for December. After I decide what to do next I will either convert this patreon into whatever it is i'm working on, or I may just leave it up as a tip jar depending on what I do next. Either way, I will state my plans in next month's news post. Your support has made all of this possible, so thank you again.
Closing thoughts
This project has been a huge part of my life for the past year. Typing out this closing letter has been difficult, to say the least. My goal has been to build the greatest adult framework in Skyrim, and I truly, truly appreciate everyone that supported me and OStim. I very much do not want to leave this project, but this is a tough spot. I am deeply sorry to everyone that was looking forward to new OStim content next month, and I hope my existing content has brought you some level of joy and entertainment.
I'm sure opinions about this are going to be heated so for my own mental health as stated earlier I will be on break for a few weeks. Please return next month after I've decided what comes next. Nothing is final quite yet

Not content with calling users "pirates", installing "malware" and posting images disrespecting users on Loverslab, the individual has blocked anyone who has dared to question his wrongdoing on Nexus, which has not taken any action against this person. Shameful.

You may want to talk to a lawyer about the way forward. I guess the Nexus update was a way of blocking access to the old files to new users.

Even if he/she truly wants to be the only one in control of the direction of OSEX/OSA going forward, which would be their right as the creator, know that we all appreciate the time and effort that's been put into the incredible work of OStim, and I consider every one of my dollars donated for your time well spent!

Keep your head up, though: it's entirely possible this is a miscommunication. Nothing you do is piracy, only implementation and application of their work. Fingers crossed either way. Know that all your work is fantastic and deeply appreciated.
