Writing Semester Updates, Weekend Plans, & Camp NaNoWriMo Coming to an End!

Hi friends, hello!!

First off, can I just say that YouTube picks the absolutely BEST thumbnails? Bahaha. That moment in time perfectly encapsulates how I've felt the past few weeks.

To start, I had my first lingering migraine of the summer. (On my birthday too, a bummer!) Then I had a pre-planned mini trip with a friend, another friend unexpectedly came to town, my brother stayed over for a surprise wedding he was attending, and somehow now it's almost the end of July????

I don't even know how it happened.

That's all to say, I maaaaaay have gotten a little off track! But thankfully, I built this contingency into my long "summer writing semester" experiment. So I hope you enjoy watching Week 2 and then what became of Weeks 3 & 4. I'll be starting next week up WITH A VENGEANCE (aaaaaaand with considerably more reasonable goals!).

(Also there are NO ADS in this video because it's meant just for y'all! Sorry about having them already turned on in Week 1's vlog, I hadn't realized. 😭 That video will be going live later today on my channel though, so if you see it and are like, "haven't I already watched this?" YES YOU HAVE!)

Now moving onto this week, there are a lot of very fun plans and events happening!

Firstly, a large authortube community event: CAPTURE THE WORDS. Join The Deadline League OR The Procrasti-Nation and compete head-to-head in a series of four long streams! It all happens over the course of this Saturday & Sunday and the first stream starts in the next 20ish hours!! EEK.

Here's how the teams stand so far, I'm excited to see which y'all join! :)

But if you aren't able to join this event, I hope I'll be able to catch you for our DOUBLE STREAM DAYS!

Stream 1: Monday, July 31st, at 6:30pm CDT. (I'm planning to stream until I'm exhausted, as it really will be a SPRINT for me to get the last words in to meet my Camp goal bahahaha. So just FYI, this one will likely be a long one!)

Stream 2: Tuesday, August 1st, at 10:30am CDT.

I loved the idea of a mad sprint to the finish for July and a nice, chill start to August, both of which we can do together.
