Picking up Thor, my crochet spider web top, & all the streams!

Hello, hello friends!

Sorry for the quick change of stream time from the calendar. (I had such good intentions when I set it up! Bahaha.)

Today we're officially picking up Thor, my partner's grandma's dog, who will be living with us for the next six months or so as she travels back to Vietnam! I cannot properly convey how excited I am to have a cute senior dog in the house again. I will absolutely be posting pictures when he's here so y'all can meet him, too.

Since I can't make the originally planned stream, I've gone ahead and moved it to TOMORROW at 10:45am CDT (link above). I'm shifting it back a bit becaaauuuusseeeee...

I will be joining all of these fantastic writers on Sarah Cahill's Weekend Relay stream earlier that morning (at 7am CDT)! :) I can't wait, it's going to be so fun. If you're hoping to get a lot of sprints in this weekend, let me direct you to the Storytellers Hearth Weekend Relay playlist. :)

This couldn't have come at a better time for me. Even though I can't participate today, I'm going to try my best to catch up on my 100KQ4 words on Sunday!! My word count graph keeps flirting with the par range, but it's been a couple weeks since they touched bahaha.

I did manage to complete one goal though: my spider web crochet top!

Finished with about thirty minutes to spare before I needed to leave to meet up with my friend for the Spooky Book Fair! (In my hand in the picture above was the Purple People Eater drink and it was delicious, a lavender lemonade.)

Above is my haul. Frankly, I have tapped out on my "tote bag budget" for the next three years, but I really couldn't help myself. It's a skeleton! With a book! And warm beverage! SAYING JUST ONE MORE CHAPTER.

Who can blame me?

Anyways, I'm excited to see y'all on Sunday! It will be our final 100KQ4 sprint for October, and then I'll see y'all again on Tuesday, November 5th at 2:45pm CST (time change!) for our next stream and our book club chat!

(As a final, brief aside, I'm going to the Texas Renaissance Festival next weekend! For my RenFest people, what's your favorite thing to do? Eat? What do you wear? Do I have time to crochet something between now and then?? Lolol.)

Can't wait to chat with y'all soon (omg with Thor hopefully in the background). In the meantime, happy writing! :)

Oooh, do you have photos of you glowing?

My two lines are also flirting with each other, if being 15K words apart counts as flirting...and I started the next in the series without quite finishing the second. What am I doing....LOL

We're full on working on the fixer-upper we just bought, so we can move in by 11/15! Which means I'm not writing for a bit. 😬 I'll play catch-up over the holidays. 🀞🏼

OMG, glow in the dark yarn!!!

YAY! And awesome job on the top! I've wondered if you were a member of NetGalley, tho ebooks, it's fun to see books before released and one was added yesterday about "tarot card romance" lmao

Kristina Rose

Thank youuuuuu! It was honestly so fun. My friend and I went to this tiki bar after the Book Fair and actually got to see the glow-in-the-dark yarn work its magic! So fun. :)

Yesssss, totally understand! Honestly that would be the reason every other time bahaha. The day we pick up Thor has changed every other day I feel like, but it's OFFICIAL. Today in an hour! Bahaha. Maybe I can update this post with a picture of him, too! And thank you!!
