Project details for the first term of 2019

OK! So finally I get to tell you all the details that will entail for this special project! 

So let me start from the beginning so you can understand what all of this will be about.

A couple of months ago, I asked everyone on social media to ask me anything for a special Q and A I'm doing, the question that pop up the most was "How did you get into this hobby", the answer is simple but very long, so I decided that I wanted to dedicate a whole episode to answer that in the form of a "Story time" video, I've been wanting to change the beat on my channel for a while and I realized that most of you don't really know a lot about me other than my actual work, so I decided that I will take a special kit of mine that I've had in mind for so long to go along with this story time video as I didn't know what to share until now.

The super quick answer to that, is basically "I discovered this hobby because my ex dumped me", but there's more than just that, Sailor Moon has been present in turning points in my life twice and both times, my ex was at the center of it, so I thought it was appropriate to work on a Sailor Moon kit to share this story with you, why did I decide this? Well, because 2 months ago, my ex showed up on my notifications on Instagram where it said that he was now following me(I blocked him immediately upon seeing that)... after 12 years, he still decides to stalk me, I don't want to give out a lot of spoilers, but because of how things ended, let's just say that I was never given the right to cry, make a scene or even question him when he did it, so this would be my catharsis to finally lay that past to rest. 

I know, super personal, but for such a long time, I was ashamed to even talk about it, but after much therapy, I realized that I needed to do this.  

Now since it's just going to be a story and no actual explanation of the technical side of things, I decided that all that will be exclusive content for my patrons, so explanations and descriptions are all going to be concentrated here. 

So what's this project?

This is the idea, however, instead of her being straight, she will be slightly flexed, I'm taking artistic liberties with this one as I like it better that way because she will be represented in a very sorrowful way, her expression will be that of sadness just like in this illustration, but I think that when we're sad, most of us turn to hugging ourselves in a fetal position, so that's what I'm aiming for, not straight, not full fetal position, but something in between. 

I'm terrible at drawing, so this would be my base example.

For the actual kit, I'm actually going to be using 3 different kits, one is actually just a pair of wings, unknown in origins as I only got them as is from a friend.

I know that this kit would be "it" and why would I want to make a different one if this one already exists... well, because it sucks (≧∀≦)

I'll just be taking her head and pigtails.

For the body, I'll be using this one from Asuka (also note, I just re-watched Evangelion and I realized that I still hate her, so it's a win win for me (ᗒᗨᗕ) )

I will be modding her body, chopping off her head and repositioning the legs.

These are the pieces I've started to work on

So what will happen in this project?

Lots of things!

• Chopping up parts and exchanging them (kit bash)
• Adding more details to the wings as far as details to the actual feathers (kit mod)
• Adding more hair strands
• Mold making. YES! I will actually be doing molds for several of the modded pieces, and then making a mold for the entire kit.
• Removing Usagi's bangs to make them a separate piece for easy painting
• And finally, modding Usagi's face to make her look sad like the mock-up below:

Like I said, she's "easy" but it's going to be a little complex to get to that finish line.

I've already started filming it yesterday in a little time I had, but I've decided to work on this project on the weekends as I'm still pretty busy with my remaining commissions for this year. 

So each new update will be on a weekly to biweekly basis.

I'll be doing some video vlogs explaining what's going on in between weeks for the corresponding tiers and I'll do 2 live streams per month where I'll be showing those in $8 tier a front row seat to a live work in progress where you'll be able to ask me anything regarding the project, or the techniques I'm using or a general explanation of what you're seeing me do, I decided to cap it to 15 people so we can have a more comfortable conversation without over saturating the chat so I can pay attention to everyone easily (＾ω＾)

That's this term's project, and boy is it a doozy! But I'm very excited to share this with you and once the video is done, you guys will have early access to the video before it goes live so you can see how it all comes together in a single presentation with a story,  music and all that sweet jazz (人◕ω◕)
