[WiP] Items Preview

Since the last game I truly enjoyed playing was an Atelier game (that was 2 years ago), I was inspired to make a similar complex item crafting/alchemy mechanic.
But after drawing these, I've come to decide in the end that I want the game to start as simple as possible, so scratch that. Simple item system is the way to go... for now.

Woah wth Patreon didn't notify me of this comment. I'm just reading this now and for that I apologize! Thanks for the support, and giving feedback as well. Nice to know fellow Atelier games enjoyer. I do agree their crafting systems are very addicting (spent 90% of the games just crafting the best items), and would love to see one in my game, just not this one, maybe lol Anyway you can stop worrying about the project becoming a feature creep because I've been game deving for a while now, so I have learned already the hard way and have known my own limits. limited time as well, which is a massive headache rn lol Also I'm sticking to my vision right from the start, which is a not-so-big project that can be completed in less than a year or two. Don't wanna get to the point that I'm sick of it after all, that's very important. Once again, thank you guys for your patience! I'm truly grateful!

Yeah lol, I love atelier a fuckton as well but they've been refining their systems for a quarter of a century at this point, they focused on the one thing and they loved and maybe one of the best series ever. Which is to say I think it's great that you love the series as well you but have a lot of ideas going on even in the demo I played not sure what ver. it was but it had the hand job, and a tease for 300 army size for something that I wasn't able to get since my wrist was starting to hurt lol. Anyways I know I'm commenting on an old post and I wasn't really planning on subbing, but reading this post and seeing that you were a fellow Atelier fan made me want to support you lol. Never know what random things that endear people you. Back to commenting on the game itself with what I said you have two big systems you have to work on the over world interacting system, most of it with the girls whom you'll all be able to flirt, oogle, hold hands, ask for H, etc. and the main battle system itself and the systems you plan to build around it. The main thing I'd like to ask for is keyboard inputs so people can control with out having to put constant pressure on the mouse(double clicking didn't really work that well for me, I couldn't control as well), but other than that it's a kinda fun X.io game-like I'm not sure which one it was but just going around getting bigger is very reminiscent of it. Also again not sure what you have planned for the future but having new movement options of formations or something like that would be nice since the most efficient way kill a group of enemies to so completely surround them and once you start clumping up, you get surrounded because you just aggro everything. But yeah you def have a lot of ideas, and i'd really hate to see you die to feature creep, so as much as adding a complex crafting system would be, I'd rather you didn't do it unless you made a game just for it lol.
