General Update: 03/17/25

Welp, I'm still at it! To be honest I was trying to rush to get things done, but at this point I've blown so far past my estimate for this update anyway I'm just going to give it the time it needs to be finished to my satisfaction.

As a reminder, this is the big hump update where my goal is to finish fixing all my old code and finish modding, the stomach system, etc. for the foreseeable future, so there's not going to be much new content to see. In fact, judging by the usual update schedule, it may still be another couple months until a new character is in a released build. I'm doing fine right now, so no worries whatsoever if you want to pause your membership while things are slow right now and come back in when they get more exciting.

Also, if you've contacted me about the writing position I will have that test prompt out next week! Just to explain it further, I will be sending over the art for a new character and asking you to write the 15-20 lines that play when you tap on your secretary in the lobby. It won't be a fully finished character, just a design roughly on the same level as the ones I posted a few weeks ago with different expressions to play with as you write. Thank you all so much again for applying!

Finally, just so that I don't leave you with nothing this week, here's a sneak peek at the new feed menu UI:

Thank you so much for your support, I'll see you all next week!

I'm planning on posting it here, just to make sure I don't miss anyone

Hi friend! I can't wait for the writing test ^^ Are you going to publish it here, on Patreon, or send it to the people who contacted you on Discord? And if you feel you're not “fast” enough, never forget: in life, you can only do your best ;)

Eh, take my money anyway.

Archetyping

Good work needs time so take your time and do it calm ;)

Rebuilding the basics is time consuming but important. Perfecting it in the early stage will make later development much easier and eventually save a lot more time. So please take as much time as you need. PS: The new UI looks great :D

This sounds like good old fun now, count me in.

So, i am guessing the bigger (1) is the bond level but what's the smaller one? Based on previous infos about future mechanic changes, i would assume, that the smaller (1) represents the character level? The one you up, by using the unit in actual levels. Honestly, i'm a big fan of the new UI and i usually don't like major visual changes too much. But i just think this UI is better.
