General Update: 05/26/25

Well, at this point I've got no choice but to admit I've hit a slump. There's nothing to worry about, development is continuing, it's just lost time and I'm still making slow and steady progress each day. I probably just used up too much energy rendering Corn's love handles, but I'm still happy I did and I think you will be too. I do think that will become less of a problem going forward, since this time I really put a lot of effort into improving my art and in the future I just need to keep drawing in the same artstyle.

In other news, I've been putting some thought into what I want to draw for the little experiment I mentioned last week. I probably will make my decision based on which one I feel most inspired to draw once I start, since that will definitely make a big difference, but as we're in a lull here I figured I would do a poll to see which one you all would most like to see based on a short description:

Character A:
Punk rocker with an eclectic and colorful design. She has large eyes with an 'X' and 'O' for the pupils and multi-colored hair tied in spiky twintails. On her slim body she wears a baggy torn t-shirt, short-shorts, ripped stockings, and various punk accessories like spiked bracelets. Wields a guitar as an axe. Probably has a fang or shark teeth. An exercise in designing a more unconventional character, but also one that wouldn't look out of place in something like Pokemon, etc.

Character B:
Stereotypical nurse that just does her job for the paycheck. Wears a traditional pink nurse outfit and hat, white stockings, heels, etc. Her hair is short and flares out at the sides, but has a long extension in the back. With an hourglass figure she's your typical sexy nurse, but she has a lazy expression and cat-like grin that's out of place on a professional. She would be a new healer with an emphasis on curing status ailments. A design that's not that interesting on paper, but is good culture regardless.

Character C:
Bored snake girl, part of a faction of vocaloid-style idols with animal ears/tails/etc. She is somewhat short with dark skin and average proportions. Wears a large flashy jacket with a cobra-like hood, zipped open most of the way to show her stomach and a short tank top, but still zipped at the bottom to cover her shorts. White stockings and boots create a stark contrast for her absolute territory. Has long nails covered in glitter and stickers, and similar makeup around her eyes that merges with a scattering of scales. Has a snake tail and long fangs. A design I like in my head, but one I might have trouble executing on in a short time frame.
