Presenting a totally original vore experience, Venus Derby!

Kemokko. Girls inheriting the appearance of animals, with appetites that belie their size. They have existed as our companions for millennia, living with us, fighting with us, and devouring us. Each kemokko is a precious blessing from the Goddess, and all humans are prepared to one day give their own body to satiate a kemokko's hunger.

Train animal girl athletes!

Voresen Sports University, a prestigious school for elite kemokko athletes, is where you have found yourself as the newest trainer in its track program. You have made a solemn vow: to help your trainees achieve their dreams or die trying. Each playthrough, you will select an athlete and train her, manage her diet, and form a close relationship over the course of several years. Getting your athlete to the top won't be easy, and a lot of people will be eaten along the way, but with enough work your name may go down as the greatest trainer VSU has ever seen.

Each kemokko is unique!

You may obtain new kemokko by playing a gacha. However, unlike most games, each character you receive will be completely randomized! While the vast majority will be the species most suited to racing, horses, other species may rarely make an appearance as well! This mechanic is very ambitious so certain ideas from the above proof of concept may be cut.

Gameplay takes place on a procedurally generated game board!

Train your kemokko while navigating a game board filled with events! Each activity will move you a different distance while increasing your kemokko's stats. You'll need to be careful while managing their diet! Eating prey will greatly boost their stat gain, but eating too many humans unprovoked will send their popularity plummeting down, making it harder to find willing prey in the future. Balance your kemokko's training and build your affection with her to take her to the top!

Races are all or nothing!

Kemokko races have a special rule- the athletes may eat each other at any time! Digesting a struggling competitor only has a minor effect on one of these powerful runners performance, and the strongest among them can even digest several without issue. Races end with two or three of the competitors being digested on average, but don't worry, kemokko that are deemed worthy will be resurrected at a Goddess' chapel. Even if your beloved trainee is churned up by a rival, she'll soon return in fighting form, and her own rivalries and friendships won't end after a simple meal or two.

Play to the crowd!

An athlete's fans are the lifeblood of her training! By gaining devoted fans, your kemokko will gain willing prey she may eat while training and a greater chance of obtaining prey. Special events, such as handshake events, will allow your racer to interact with her fans one-on-one- or devour them by the truckload. Kemokko's appetites are celebrated, and special eating competitions are held yearly which can help push your athlete to even greater heights!

What is this?

Venus Derby is a new game being created by Vorecade's developer, hmal/slough, built on top of VT's framework. To be clear, I am NOT making it. However, I AM helping with the game design, setting, and visual design. VT is my first priority, but I do plan on spending some of my free time making assets for this game. That aside, hmal has already done great work, creating a working lobby and a mod creator that is compatible with VT! If you would like to take a look, you can watch a video here:
