Added 2026-01-13 05:05:48 +0000 UTCFinished tearing out old battle system and patching up the resulting errors
Added a proper input manager to support keybinding changes and controllers
Started process of adding next character
Planned out and began work on new battle system
Added multiple zoom levels and overhead view to battle
Tokens will now be silhouetted in their team colors when behind terrain
Began replacement of placeholder UI assets


Work continues on the battle overhaul! It's just getting started, but my goal here is to get it to what my idea of VT's "finished" battle system should be. That means, aside from working better behind the scenes, a lot more QoL, better visuals, and a more professional UX. I'm also going to set it up with potential future controller support in mind and change battles from turn-based to phase-based. This will take a bit, but development is going strong and moving forward at a consistent rate each day, so it's just a matter of putting the time in now. Thank you so much for all your support!
