Your Money Update #13 (& 1/2 for the superstitious)
Added 2023-02-06 13:37:55 +0000 UTC$87.15 of your Patreon donations went toward Patreon's various fees.
$5.00 of your Patreon donations went to support Kreiste, the creator of HIMBO, because they are awesome.
$5.00 of your Patreon donations went to PureDark, for the ENB-compatible version of the Skyrim Upscaler mod (DLSS & FSR2), which I prefer to use to keep my testing runs snappy and responsive. I also strongly wish for this mod's development to continue.
$5.00 of your Patreon donations went to Pascal Gilcher for his "ray-tracing" shaders, mostly because I keep forgetting to cancel. It seems as though most of these PTGI customizations throw off the intended lighting for the games I try them on. If they don't they're almost too subtle to notice. Refer to my Discord if you still want to get DLSS and ray tracing to work with your installation of one of Wabbajack's lists!
The electricity bill went down to $251, but increased receipts allowed me to pay it in full from your Patreon donations. Without them I would be unable to work on the list.
$112.89 of your Patreon donations went toward two months' supply of high-powered vape juice which I am not proud of. I do plan to quit. I don't know how I will do it (it will be my third time and each time is harder, consult the blog at https://cacophony.me for the sad tale of my relapse)
The remaining $78.96 went to pay down credit cards which is slowly but surely increasing my credit score which will eventually provide me with the resources to have my destroyed teeth extracted.
Tax season is coming up and I have been hit like every Creator with the unexpected information that standard deductions do not apply to self-employment income. Estimates range from $400 to $1000, but the most accurate itemization tool (Patreon's own Keeper app) is telling me I'll owe $1200 or more. This will all have to come out of pocket. Times will be tight so please consider a modest subscription as a tip for the list if you have spent extensive amounts of time enjoying it. Donation suggestions range from $1 for a VIP role to $35 for three months for a nifty hoodie with the Licentia logo. You might also try my merchandise shop available at the URL mentioned.
Go there. It's easy to remember. CACOPHONY-DOT-ME
My time is more limited these days due to taking full time school (for which tuition is cheap and I will receive a small refund from my grants), but I am committed to supporting the list as well as keeping up at least the basic profile in as bug free situation as a ramshackle pile of 1,000 mods by 50 authors will allow. I am trying to find ways to add value to my Discord server to make it a cool place to hang out, so please stop by and say hello if you haven't. The link is https://discord.gg/jolly-coop.
The list is mostly in a good place aside from a small camera bug and a need to edit paths that I forgot to change. The modding scene is also pretty quiet as well (probably because of school) so now is a good time for a long playthrough if you're ever going to get around to one. Try it out on Licentia, there's tons to do and I worked hard on it!
