Your Money Update #16

$74.72 of your Patreon donations went toward Patreon's various fees.

$0.00 of Merch went out this month, so I am spared that small expense.

$222.00 of your Patreon donations went toward my electric bill. Energy prices must have gone down because it is remaining below its height of three months ago, despite a "levelized" account and lackluster attempts at maintaining good power-saving policies.

$79.06 of your Patreon donations went toward groceries from Kroger -- when I get out of there for less than $100 I feel like I'm doing pretty good.

Not gonna lie, the remaining $15.06 of your Patreon donations went toward a hamburger and a 12-pack of "Big K" generic cola. Thankfully, though, I appear to have recovered from my addiction to DoorDash.

An exciting opportunity has developed in my life for me to achieve some CompTIA technical certifications, particularly the A+ and the Network+. The traininig regimen for them in the community college courses I am taking appears to be of more value than the courses themselves, and I seem to be a natural born test-taker. I thought maybe I would go out for them while the opportunity is hot. I'll get a significant discount for being a student and were I to take them later on down the road I would probably need to pay for another training course for them because technology is constantly in flux. So why not? The only question is, will I get a decent-paying job for my efforts, so I can finally abandon you all forever? "Oh no!" You might protest. "Don't do that!" Well, good news, you can make it less likely by donating generously to my Patreon account! ;)

I am going to take a break from school and other responsibilities this summer though (starting around May 10), with the explicit intention of working on Licentia Black SIX and making it valuable to my users as more than just a testbed for their own mods. My goals are to bring back multiple profiles, improve my competency with certain advanced techniques (and reflect them in the list), and hopefully finish the giant NPC overhaul I've been promising for over a year. I also plan on returning the system requirements more to the level that Licentia Classic was, since the bugs with OStim appear to have not been my fault at all -- and have also been resolved by the new team for the OSuite series of mods. If you want to get a preview of this exciting version of Licentia, please join my #black-six-testing channel on my server and download the Wabbajack file pinned there. I hope you have fun with it, and especially make it your own. Helping me to make it even more engaging for users like you would also be nice.

I believe I will cut this missive short for now, though, because I must return to studying for these certifications. Over 2,000 questions on each of the "review" exams!
