Your Money Update #17

$77.87 of your Patreon donations went toward Patreon's various fees.

$14.50 of Merch went out this month, in the form of a Licentia logo coffee mug to a long-time contributor (and now friend), so thanks to them! If you have put a lot of time into the modlist and maybe had your most epic Skyrim playthrough ever, why not mark the occasion by subscribing to a higher tier for a bit and getting yourself a commemorative item -- that also just so happens to make a great talking point!

$196.29 of your Patreon donations went toward my combined Internet, television, and landline bill. I should complain about my old-ass room-mates' demands for archaic cable, but most of that expense is due to ultrahigh bandwidth costs, and that expense is my choice considering my work. Biden's COVID stimulus for broadband ended with the official emergency status for the pandemic, and the year-long promotional period is also now complete, so this is the first month it has been that pricey. I should probably look at switching to DSL for a couple months to receive the new customer discount again.

$128.69 of your Patreon donations finally paid off my Aunt's damn iPhone that she financed. Whaddya wanna bet she asks for her share of the monthly household expenses to be reduced? Despite the fact that I already pay over half of them...

$34.52 of your Patreon donations went to my water bill, which is holding steady because we are filthy beasts who care not for ourselves or our surroundings.

$26.82 of your Patreon donations went toward an internal PCIe USB 3.0 card for my PC. These Thunderbolt ports just aren't cutting it for my many peripherals. Plus I'll probably use it as a passthrough for my hobbyist MacOS Virtual Machine again sometime soon. I hope to eventually get an old AMD card for the same purpose...

The remaining $40.68 of your Patreon donations went toward keeping my credit cards paid down, because I am experimenting with charging things to them throughout the month, paying them off, and snagging those sweet sweet bonus points and cashbacks. I'll let you know how it goes.

Development of the list continues apace, I just triple-checked all my lighting records for the new Lux update and although I overlooked a few conflicts over the past few months nothing major was amiss. It was quite time-consuming, through -- happy to be through it so I can get back to adding profiles and features.

Speaking of which, if you haven't stopped by the Discord server in a bit you may wish to -- separate installable versions of Licentia are now available, including a version for the 1.6.640 version of Skyrim that has slightly more updated mods, the fan favorite NEEDS version that features the full old-school Survival suite, and another interpretation of the SLOOT suite for skimpy armors by Rog and other users.

You might also check out my bare-minimum work-in-progress Fallout 4 list I have taken to calling Parabellum. Althought not much is there yet, the tiny amount of conflicts in the list mean that it is fully modular with all Creation Club content so if you have collected any of Bethesda's cringey "paid mods" over the years you can use as few or as many of them as you like. There's an alternate profile for this one too which features the admittedly buggy but quite hilarious NUKA RIDE mod that was removed from my colleague's Wasteland of Depravity list along with, once again, more sloot.

Drop on in any time! I'll leave the porch light on for ya'.
