If you're thinking about subscribing, your bank did not decline August's payment to "cacophony1979", or you still have access to the VIP channels of my Discord, this message does not apply to you.

For some reason Patreon must have transitioned to an overseas payment processor for some localities. This may have resulted in your bank flagging those transactions as fraudulent when they weren't. They're probably just trying to maximize as much profit for their wealthy shareholders as they can off the backs of second-class losers like me, as scum corpos are wont to do, but this is their official statement on the matter: Patreon Status - Elevated declines

As far as I know, Patreon does not care about this at all and now considers those with rejected transactions no longer my subscribers. Neither will they re-run the fraudulent transactions they themselves caused. I guess I can just fuck myself and work harder to make them rich.

For the sake of my economic well-being, please consider notifying your bank that Patreon is not a fraudulent transaction and try your subscription again. Or switch payment methods to one with less restrictive security features.

But what I would really prefer is that you ditch this trash company, stop by my Discord server, and use the Server Subscriptions page to transition your donations to an organization that still seems to give half a shit. My cut is higher there anyway. Patreon takes 40%. Discord takes 10%.
