Folks, I'm afraid I'm going to have to let you down.

My latest plan was to release a beta version of Quests by the 24th, and that is just not going to be possible.

My class schedule for the last two weeks involved watching maybe 50 corporate training videos and completing three programming projects. I ignored it anyway for about half a week, but after experimenting a bit with the assignments, I estimated the responsibilities of the rest of the class schedule and quickly realized that based on the time required, if I devoted myself exclusively to the modlist, I would not be able to keep up. I would eventually fall far behind and -- if the past is any indication -- find myself overwhelmed and give up on school before the semester's end.

So, I tried to split the difference and do as much studying as working on the list and wound up completing neither. Just like last semester, I severely underestimated the time required to do my classes justice as well as my ability to motivate myself toward that end. I still plan on releasing a significant modlist update followed by a beta version of Quests a bit later on, but currently I am only finished with about 2/3 of the initial xEdit review. It's going to take some more time, and sadly, based on what's happened as yet, I don't know how much time that will be. I believe I am just going to have to make a rule that I will be incapable of making any ETA announcements while I have other responsibilities in my life.

For those of you who contributed financially to ensure this list got done, I appreciate your support and hope you don't view this as too much of a betrayal. The list will get made, I'm committed to that, but I have learned an important lesson about my ability to follow through with work-related promises while school is going on.
