Your Money Update END

I'm going to drop the usual Monthly Your Money Report this month, because I no longer believe you deserve access to that information.

Various circumstances in my Community and the Wabbajack Community at large have convinced me that those Communities, with the release of Bethesda's Verified Creations Program, have become actively hostile to the idea of supporting myself with Bethesda-related Content, over and above even the hostility of Bethesda and Microsoft themselves, the Publishers of the original game, and holders of all the Copyrights.

In short, they have communicated to me in so many words that their accessible luxuries are more valuable to them than my well-being, so it is with great disappointment that I must announce a step back from supporting my Modlists. The individuals criticizing me have always maintained that this hobby is not a viable means of support. Still, over the years I have discovered this is not due to lack of value in the labor, the generosity of the users, or my ability to work on such Projects in a limited fashion. It is due solely to the Community's attitude that everything must be free, and not only can they choose not to purchase Bethesda-related fan content, but the idea that it even exists is an affront to their sense of Entitlement.

So, you don't get to know my finances anymore, sorry. I will foster other Freelance interests and complete school so I can find some flunkie position with a business where getting paid for your labor is okay. I hope I have created enough value and provided enough of a service to you that you can continue to support me for a time -- and I will continue to update the Modlists and attempt to develop alternate Bethesda-related revenue streams outside of Wabbajack's sphere of influence -- in addition to limited attempts at creating other content unrelated to Bethesda at all. It'll all start from scratch, though, because "Bethesda popularity" never translates to "real" popularity.

What this means for you is that Updates will become less frequent and more "impactful," you might say, and that perhaps other members of my Community will take a lead role in most of the responsibilities that I previously handled myself. I will try my damndest to keep the Modlists installable, come hell or high water -- unless someone comes into my house and blows up my computer. Thank you for all the time and attention you have given me over the years.
