2023-09-15 22:27:50 +0000 UTCThat "pre-intro" sequence starts on S1E01 on my DVDs from back then, it is replaced by a "last season on Buffy" on S2E01 but comes back on S2E02. Almanachs are/were yearly books that have (had?) weather prediction for the whole year, moon phases too and various articles, they were originally aimed at farmers. We had one in Quebec called "Almanach du Peuple", your parents have probably heard of it.
