2023-09-30 20:58:02 +0000 UTCAlthough "๐ฟ๐ค๐๐ฉ๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐ค" remains my first choice I will second Michael Roach's recommendation of "๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐." It is a very underrated series. I can't remember how much you like SciFi but two good series that don't get nearly enough love from reactors are the "๐ฝ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ก๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐" reboot and "๐ฝ๐๐๐ฎ๐ก๐ค๐ฃ ๐ฑ" plus a SciFi series that ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐ด get a lot of people reacting to it but is very worthwhile: "๐๐๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐จ๐."

2023-09-30 09:38:35 +0000 UTCOur flag means death is just such a joy to watch fairly quick to get through, and has another season coming out soon, so this would be a great moment, people are quite hyped for it. Other than that .... I adore the X files, Supernatural, Doctor Who and Sherlock. Also, I suppose I might have missed it if it was on the list, but the legend of Vox Machina is so great too.

X-Files is just an old favorite that I would love to see someone commit to, but it is quite a bit longer and takes alot more determination to get through. Still a great show though.

(Hereby referred to as ATLA.) And now the choices. Supernatural, Community, Firefly, Breaking Bad, [edit] TLoK, and The Tick from 2016.

I couldn't get into Veronica Mars myself but it's a well written and quite popular show. Most of the other suggestions are also worthwhile however you know my first choice will be Doctor Who! ๐ I also agree that Whedon shows should be spaced out, for the most part.

2023-09-30 01:48:08 +0000 UTCLots of good options there. I'd do Firefly(+Serenity) first as it's very popular, very good, and quite short. I'd vote for Black Mirror after that as it's highly thought-provoking, though I'm not sure seasons 5 and after are really worth it. (You might find the very first episode a bit offputting though. You can always skip it if you want - each BM episode is a mostly-independant story.) Travellers is a bit if a guilty pleasure for me. The concept and pilot are good, and there's another episode which I think is excellent (the one with the skydivers) but overall I don't think the quality is up there with the best shows. For a more obscure suggestion try Life (2007-2009) with Damien Lewis. It's drastically under-appreciated. (It's from before Damien Lewis "broke" the US with Band of Brothers and Homeland.)

Firefly you absolutely have to doโฆbut could wait if you want to space out the Whedon shows. I would watch Supernatural and Doctor Whoโฆbut those are both looooooong shows.

Orphan Black is something special. For one not on your list Iโd throw out Lost Girl. If youโre up for animation Iโd also throw out The Legend of Vox Machina (based off a twitch stream).
