The Flash Movie

Ezra isn't a big fan of the current take from the directors who want a "Normal" and fun solo Flash movie which WB likes. Ezra wants it to be a big, grand dark epic event like Flashpoint. Because of this clash of visions WB was like "You know what we don't care anymore even if this movie will never see the light of day". And because WB aren't too keen on a Flash movie anymore and if it'll get made or not and because Ezra's contract is up in May he decided to take matters into his own hands. He teamed up with comic book writer Grant Morrison to help him write a script based on his own vision. The script is done and Miller will give WB the script next week and they'll look at it and let him know if they wanna go with it or not (since they like the new lighthearted direction the DC movies have taken lately it's unlikely they'll go with his take). Now, if they'll choose to go with Ezra's script it's likely the directors will drop from the film and WB will need to look for a new director(s) for the film which will farther delay the project coming out. If they choose to go with the directors' vision it's likely Ezra will drop or gets fired once his cotract is up. Leaving the current directors to recast the role. They already have their own script they'll use for it. It's also possible but unlikely WB will like Ezra's vision, and the directors will choose to stay anyway and move forward with his script. OR that WB won't go with Ezra's script but he'll stay anyway and will agree to the directors' vision. Both of these options are unlikely.
We'll get our answer either by the end of this month or at some point in April.

2019-03-21 13:30:25 +0000 UTCWe as audience also need to accept the truth, we true fans only form a minority group WB will go with something which they feel will make more money, they are not interested in making a good movie and doing fan service, they will obviously go for a movie which is more of crowd-pleasing, unless and until they get some director who is at par with Nolan I doubt we will see more of movie deep material in it. Probably Matt Reeves will give us a movie which is both deep and brings in a lot of Money, currently i am only looking upto him for a good solid movie.

2019-03-17 04:39:42 +0000 UTCIs there any word on what the other scripts are like? So far the Geoff Johns model has been solid. It’d make sense for them to take a Flash Rebirth type of approach and build to what Ezra wants to do.
