personality, only seen by him. He's "lean, grizzled. Stained tobacco teeth. Hollow cheeks. And the flinty eyes of a pure killer."

This corrupt official sells Armond a military grade sonic device. He's "trim slicked-back hair, tailored suit a man still worthy of the word 'continental' "

[Any ethnicity] Newly appointed CIA Deputy Director, he wants to rein in Westermark's program. He's described as "compact, dark-eyed, Brooks Brothers suit".

care when his boss (Berg) re-reviews Westermark's program. He's a "rumpled man with a comb-over and briefcase. Both are coming undone."
