CANDYMAN

The new residents haven’t heard the local stories about a mysterious string of murders committed decades earlier, and don’t know the myth that the killer reappears when you repeat his name, Candyman, five times.
The movie stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (from AQUAMAN and the “Watchmen” television series), and Teyonah Parris (from IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK and the television series “Empire”). The movie is written by Jordan Peele and Win Rosenfeld, based upon a short story by the master of classic horror, Clive Barker.
