We are seeking unique, specific, interesting actors for all roles to populate all episodes of DAYLIGHT DAYCARE (fka MONSTERLAND).  Please submit all different body types, unique faces, and quirky and off beat characters for all roles to fill out our universe. 

[ SHARKO ]
Late 30s-40s, Male.  VIETNAMESE.  He is a once powerful and successful trawl boat captain who was considered the "King" of his Texas fishing community. Horribly injured in a recent oil spill, Sharko is now scarred, dependent on an oxygen tank, and a shadow of his former vigorous self.  He feels trapped in his now weakened and disfigured body and is incredibly angry about his situation.  He is fiercely protective of the oceanic creatures that have been injured in the spill and wants the oil company to pay for the disaster they've created in the sea.  After he collects a special specimen---an apparently dead mermaid who proves to be not so dead after all--he finds himself becoming increasingly infatuated with his cannibalistic captive, retreating into a world of dangerous fantasy that may ultimately take a fatal turn... MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY BOTH HIS PAST STRONG AND MUSCULAR MAN'S MAN AND HIS PRESENT DAY WEAKENED SELF WHO IS NO LONGER ABLE TO GET AROUND. This episode takes place in the gulf region of Texas - CHARACTER SPEAKS WITH A TEXAS ACCENT.  LEAD.

[ MAN / WEREWOLF ]
30 to 40 years old, all ethnicities male. Creature experience a plus. Will be transforming from man to werewolf. Must be comfortable in full body suit, sfx/gore, and physicalization.

[ FARMER / EYE WITNESS ]
30 to 40 years old, Hispanic, Mediterranean, Mixed Ethnicity, Native American Indian male. Actor(s) will be portraying the younger version of interviewee(s). Must show fear, have great facial expressions, and be able run a short distance.
