"Strong. Confident. Even in her current tired, beaten state, there's power to her presence." An assassin following in her estranged mother Scarlet's footsteps by working for an agency called the firm. Eva defies her boss Nathan's orders by rescuing a young hostage, Emily, and taking out members
of the Korean mob. Eva is reunited Scarlet when she's forced to ask for her help in order to save Emily.

Eva's mother who got into trouble working as an assassin and had to abandon her daughter. Scarlett is disappointed to learn her daughter has followed her into the family business, but agrees to help her save Emily.

"Dressed all in black. An expressionless, scarred face and eyes that stare into your soul." The head of the firm who gives Eva a job as an assassin. He's frustrated when he learns that Eva's taken freelance work and targeted members of the Korean Mob. He gives her a last chance to redeem herself by securing a briefcase for the firm, and sends agents after her when she goes rogue to save Emily.

"A conservatively dressed, strict looking woman in her 50s." An arms dealer posing as a librarian who persuades her other librarians, Anna May and Florence to help Eva when she falls into trouble after saving Emily. Madeline is killed by some of the members of the Korean mob.

An arms dealer posing as a librarian who occasionally looked after Eva as a child when Scarlet had dangerous missions. Anna May agrees to help Eva after she becomes a target by the Korean Mob and is also reunited with Scarlett. Anna May and Scarlett have a romantic history together and they decide to rekindle the flame after the mission is completed.
