Storyline: A sequel to the hit series on History. Vikings: Valhalla begins 100 years after the original series concludes and dramatizes the adventures of the most famous Vikings who ever lived: Leif Erikson, Freydis, Harald Harada and the Norman King William the Conqueror (also a Viking descendant). These men and women will blaze new paths as they fight for survival in an ever-changing and evolving Europe.

[Vidar Skardesson]
Series Lead Male (25 - 30)
Born in Iceland and raised in Greenland, Vidar represents a new breed of Viking - one raised far from the Norse mothership and without the experience of raiding. But as we will quickly
discover, this doesn't mean Vidar is any less a Viking. Vidar is a warrior adventurer, fascinated with unknown lands and unafraid of the sea. When we meet him, Vidar has just piloted a small ship of Greenlanders across 2000 miles of the North Atlantic. Fiercely loyal to his family, there are signs of trouble in Vidar's relationship with his domineering and dogmatic father (SKARDE), and he's primed for rebellion. Like hls sister Signe, Vidar has been raised a believer in Odin and the "old ways," but unlike Signe, he is much more open to new thoughts. [Signe Skardesdotter]
Series Lead Female (20 - 25)
Vidar's fiery half-sister. A sexually Ilberated and fiercely pagan shield malden. Signe is much more like their volatile father than Vidar. A horific rape at the hands of a Christian VIking, has made her militantly anti-Christian and as the series progresses, Signe becomes leader of the last Viking pagan holdouts against the rising tide of Christianity that is flooding Scandinavia. Mentored by the strong female leader of Kattegat, The Jarl, Signe leads the "last holdouts" in the defense of a Viking Holy City against Christian Vikings and will eventually
begln a personal quest to find a new home for them. Despite her hardened pagan views, she is romantically drawn into a relationship with our final lead, a Christian Viking named TORSEN.

[Torsen]
Series Lead Male (25 - 30)
If Vidar is rough around the edges, Torsen is smooth and polished. Though every bit the warior as Vidar, Torsen comes from Viking royal stock, close to the seat of Norse power and a charismatic leader. Having just escaped the massacre on Sst.
Brice's Day, Torsen is an active part of the great retribution force being assembled by King Kaden and one of his chief lieutenants His relationship with Vidar, forged on the battlefields of Season One will grow as the series progresses.

Son of a King of Denmark Wise, savwy and ruthless, Kaden is guided by two different voices Aliénor, his politically astute queen and Earl Colby, a scheming and ambitious Anglo-Saxon counsellor.

[Alienor]
Series Lead Female (30 - 35)
Queen to two kings. Mother to two kings (and stepmother to a third.) Beautiful. Strong. Political. She is from the Norman court and of VIking blood. Her dowry provided her with Important parts
of England, and by her late twenties she was one of the wealthlest women in Europe, After the death of her first husband Allénor marries Kaden and becomes one of hls most trusted advisors.

[Skarde]
Series Lead Male (50)
Father of Vidar and Slgne, headstrong and tough, Skarde is an ardent believer in the "old relliglon." In his twenties Skarde killed a man in Norway and was banished to Iceland. Tough and often cruel, he pushes his children in doing so creates a son and daughter who are not only great Viling warriors, but also intrepid explorers. Optlons are required. (Seasons 2 + 3) The character/role requires fighting skllls.

[Earl Colby]
Series: Lead Male (30 - 40)
the point of rebellion, but The ultimate survivor, Colby goes from polltical outcast to father of a King of England, After the Viking invason Colby
becomes one of Kaden's chief counsellors (the other belng Allénor). Colby's long and often dark journey from displaced courtier to leading eart is driven by a powerfuj ambition-matched only by hls lifelong nemesis, Aliénor.
