Logline: Reboot of BEVERLY HILLS franchise. Beverly Hills PD officer Axel Foley has to return to his battered home city of Detroit to recover a dangerous piece of evidence that he traded to save his friend's life.

Lead Male (50)
"Slicked out in Tom Ford." Axel's been living in Beverly Hills for almost 20 years, banishing his hometown of Detroit after his fiancée was killed in a gang fight. But when his old pal BILLY is shot and threatened with death, Axel steals a piece of highly dangerous evidence to save him - then has to retrieve it in Detroit so his other old friend CAPTAIN TAGGART doesn't get in trouble with the FBI. Axel isn't welcome in Detroit by the overstretched police department so, much like in the past, he has to investigate on his own. He teams up with CYRUS, an undercover cop, and TARANTULA JACK, a criminal facilitator, to take down TALASKO before he can sell a valuable microfiber that terrorists could use to forge passports. Undermanned and barely armed, Axel uses his wits to take down numerous gangsters and ends up relying on the very city he deserted to have his back in taking down Talasko. As he returns to LA, he tells Jack and Cyrus he'll be back, maybe to buy a place and settle down.

[CYRUS AKA WILLIE EICHORN]
Supporting Male (35 - 39)
"Hard edge, raw smarts. Blond hair. Scar across the jaw." When we first meet Cyrus, he's attempting to buy the microfiber brick off Udonis. Axel manages to find and track him to follow the brick and ultimately realizes he's an undercover cop. Cyrus tried to get out of Detroit years ago with a transfer to Quantico, but he got hooked on meth when he was undercover and blew his chance. He's got a chip on his shoulder about Axel's decision to leave the city years ago, but the two agree to work together to get the brick back and take down Talasko, hoping to save the city from being swallowed by crime in the process.

Supporting Male (44 - 47)
"A brutal force of nature, the augur of mayhem glistening in his pearl black eyes." Talasko is a wealthy crime lord in Detroit who's attempting to forge passports using stolen microfibers to make money off terrorists attempting to get into the US. When he learns that UDONIS is trying to sell it instead of delivering it, he kills him and everyone in his crew without blinking, and he threatens forger MILOS to get the fake passports right or he'll rip
out his remaining eye (he's already removed one). Cyrus tells Axel that Talasko is "a brand of evil you've never known" and PI-BOY says he "moves like a demon." Talasko dies in a brutal fight with Axel.

[JACKIE "TARANTULA JACK" HARLOW]
Supporting Female (20 - 23)
"Tatted and pierced, oozing Detroit edge." Jack is a tattoo artist who facilitates meetings between various criminals in Detroit, taking a 10% finder's fee for herself. She set Udonis up with Cyrus to sell the microfiber, which is how Axel tracks her down.
She attempts to strangle and shoot him when he arrives but backs down and eventually agrees to help after Talasko torches her house and kidnaps her. She risks her life to save Cyrus after he takes a bullet and finds himself exposed to incoming fire.

Supporting Male (40 - 45)
"Thick-boned bruiser." Lassar is Talasko's right-hand/muscle who gets into several scuffles with Axel and Cyrus.

Supporting Male (34 - 37)
"Scrappy with palpable edge." Garrett and his partner TAKETTA are tasked with escorting Axel back to the airport and get him out of Detroit. Axel foils them and steals their car twice, resulting in a demotion for both of them. They catch Axel a
third time, but he convinces them to help him stop Talasko to get their detective statuses back.

"Scrappy with palpable edge." Taketta and his partner Garrett are tasked with escorting Axel back to the airport and get him out of Detroit. Axel foils them and steals their car twice, resulting in a demotion for both of them. They catch Axel a

Supporting Male (47 - 49)
"Worn, whiskey bags under his eyes." Paulson is barely holding the Detroit PD together, resigned to slow response times and a dearth of commitment and resources. He's annoyed when Axel - whom he considers a Detroit deserter - shows up and wants to divert police attention to his case, so Paulson sucker punches him and sends him with two junior officers to go back to LA. He's continually irked that Axel won't leave, even throwing him in jail at one point, but once he's defeated Talasko, Paulson is
grateful and gets him on the first plane back to LA to return the evidence.

[UDONIS]
Supporting Male (27 - 29)
"A twitch thug modeling a greasy goatee, showing off a prison tattoo on his gums above his incisors - "Corner Dog" (in old English font)." Udonis was supposed to retrieve the brick from Matu for Talasko, but when the cops seize it, he shoots Billy and holds him hostage, forcing Axel to get it. Once Udonis gets it, he takes it back to Detroit and attempts to sell it directly to Cyrus rather than wait for Talasko. But when Talasko finds out, he shoots Udonis in the chest and murders the rest of his crew.

[PI-BOY]
Supporting Male (27 - 29)
"A larger, scarier thug." Pi-Boy is the muscle who accompanies Udonis in Beverly Hills and warns him not to go over Talasko's head. He survives Talasko's bloodbath by hiding in the bathroom.

[CAPTAIN TAGGART]
Supporting Male (60 - 65)
Taggart is Axel's old buddy who's now the police captain in BHPD. He's horrified when he finds out Axel took "the most dangerous piece of evidence this department has ever seen," and he demands he go get it back.

[BILLY ROSEWOOD]
Supporting Male (50 - 55)
Billy is an old buddy/former colleague of Axel's who now runs security for billionaire partiers in Malibu. After encouraging Axel to settle down and start a family, Billy is shot and held hostage by Udonis, who threatens to let Billy bleed out if Axel doesn't get the brick back. Billy is shot yet again and is in a coma for much of the film but wakes up and encourages Axel
just before he goes after Talasko.

[JEFFERY]
Supporting Male (50 - 55)
Jeffery is a former friend of Axel's in the Detroit PD who's now a city councilman. When Axel can't get the cops to help him, he raids Jeffery's stash of weapons and old-school surveillance equipment to find Talasko. Jeffery wants to help him go after
him, but Axel tells him he has too much to lose now. Jeffery reminds Axel that his late fiancée wouldn't want him to do anything stupid.

[MATSU BESSUM]
Supporting Male (35 - 38)
"Stone-faced." Matu is selling drugs to Axel in the opening scene, but it's the microfiber brick in his car that jumpstarts Axel's return to Detroit. Matu takes the money and the drugs and flees the scene, but Axel manages to catch up to him and capture him after a high-speed chase through Beverly Hills.

[TOMMY CONROY]
Cameo Male (20 - 22)
"Buff and chiseled." Tommy is a junior detective who works the Matu sting with Axel in the opening sequence. He pops the trunk on Matu's car to place a tracking device, which alerts Matu that someone's in his car.

[ROGER HOBBS]
Cameo Male (20 - 22)
"Buff and chiseled." Hobbs is also there with Conroy in the opening scene. Later, when Axel needs to steal the brick from evidence, he sends Hobbs to steal supplies for him and brushes him off when Hobbs notices a body cam on Axel's jacket.

Cameo Male (60 - 65)
"One eye, clearly under Talasko's grasp and deathly afraid." Milos is an expert forger whom Talasko has coerced into help him forge passports using the stolen microfiber; Talasko warns him he'll rip out his remaining eye if the passports aren't authenticated. Axel and Cyrus help him escape to a safe house so he can eventually testify against Talasko.

Cameo Male (20 - 25)
Donny works at an auto body shop where Udonis used to work and helps Axel locate him (at Donny's cousin's hot dog shack).

[LAB SERGEANT SPINOZA]
Cameo Male (50 - 55)
"A slow, chatty talker." Spinoza runs the forensic lab at BHPD, and Axel needs him to pull the brick quickly. Spinoza instead chides him for losing him money in the Matu bust since someone else technically collared Matu.

[RICHARDSON]
Cameo Male (60)
"The beach-ball shaped Evidence Custodian who oversees" the evidence vault. Axel bribes him with one burrito and tricks him with another to get the brick out of the vault to save Billy.

[ADRIENNE]

"Office manager." Adrienne constantly harps on Axel to follow his juice cleanse, even when he's in Detroit and well beyond her grasp.
