A huge man who becomes possessed by a demon from another realm. He ruthlessly hunts Sofia and Jake, killing everyone in his path and rebuffing Mitchell's multiple attempts to come after
him. Finally, after Merrick's body is destroyed beyond use, Archon reveals his true demonic form and incinerates.

[REIKA]
Supporting Female (30 - 39)
"Tough. Tribal tattoos and piercings." A woman who Mitchell tracks down in connection with the murder of his wife and kidnapping of his son. She explains that she is part of a tribe from another realm who have discovered the true nature of God, the Universe, and evil. The demon Archon is trying to
destroy this knowledge, and Agent Carper wants possession of her book of scriptures that contains the knowledge of how to pass between worlds. It's ultimately revealed that Sofia's "dead" son is actually Jake, and she decides to stay with Mitchell and
so they can raise the child together rather than return to her own world.

[SPECIAL AGENT JENNIFER CARPER]
Supporting Unknown (35 - 39)
A CIA agent who takes over the investigation into Archon's murder. She is trying to obtain Sofia's book so that she and her team can open the portal between worlds, and is ruthless in its pursuit. Eventually she succeeds, but the fallout kills her.

[DETECTIVE BENNET]
Supporting Male (50 - 59)
"Hard, greying, probably a veteran." Mitchell's supervisor and close friend. He tries to console Mitchell after Sofia dies, but he is increasingly powerless to do anything as Carper takes the
case away from him.

[BARRY HEISENBERG]
Supporting Male (30 - 59)
"Large beard. Pocket protector. Glasses slung on a cord around his neck He looks like a computer programmer from the 70s." A theoretical physicist who is working with Carper to try to open a
portal between worlds. When he eventually succeeds, the fallout kills him.

[SOFIA]
Cameo Female (30 - 39)
Life's been hard on her. A neck tattoo creeping on from her SAFEWAY uniform." Merrick's wife. He brutally attacks her when possessed by Archon and she testifies to the police.
