Logline: When he wakes up after seemingly being shot dead by a rival, a local drug dealer realizes that the government is using his
neighborhood for sinister experiments.

"Ripped like vintage denim... a face as menacing as his physique " A neighborhood drug dealer who is shot dead by rival ISAAC and then very shocked to wake up in his bed the next morning unharmed. He and SLICK CHARLES and YO-YO begin looking into the incident, and their search eventually leads them to a vast underground complex where a government - backed lab is performing experiments on the local Black population. Realizing that he is an artificial clone controlled by NIXON, Fontaine initially feels despair, but decides he needs to stand up to these white institutional overlords for the sake of his
neighborhood. He storms the lab and eventually comes face-to-face with an older version of himself (O.G. FONTAINE), who explains that he came up with the experiments himself - he's trying to find a way to turn black people white, in a misguided attempt to end the racist violence that claimed his brother's life. Appalled at O.G Fontaine's assimilation rhetoric, Fontaine shoots his creator and frees the clones, and goes about his life with his friends.

Supporting Male (30 - 40) Black
"Beleaguered." A somewhat hapless local pimp who owes Fontaine money, he witnesses Isaac shoot and kill Fontaine. Fontaine enlists Slick's help to try to figure out how he came back to life. Though Slick clumsiness and distractibility initially make him something of a liability, he's the one who initially
stumbles on the underground lab, and his street smarts are integral to the plan to take down the facility. At the end of the ordeal, he considers retirement.

[YO-YO]
Supporting Female (20 - 30) Black
"Eyes that haven't given up hope yet." A smart, determined prostitute in Slick Charles's employ, she's resolved to retire and start a new life. Because she witnessed Fontaine's seeming death, he enlists her help in learning what happened. Yo-Yo is
very into Nancy Drew and has a strong moral compass, so she's determined to put a stop to the awful experiments being done on their neighborhood. After helping Fontaine destroy the lab and free the clones, she finally retires and invites Fontaine home to visit her family.

[NIXON]
Supporting Male (40 - 50)
"Well-coifed." The overseer of a government (or government-adjacent) program to experiment on the black population of Fontaine's neighborhood. He claims that all of the experiments - geared towards homogenization and mind control - are meant
to increase civil peace and harmony. However, it's all very blatantly racist and Nixon clearly views the subjects as chattel. Slick Charles and Yo-Yo find and kill him.
