Oh boy, crafting!
Added 2024-08-18 18:47:21 +0000 UTCLacie is not going to have an in-dialogue crafting menu like Veronica, but what this mod will have is a couple new crafting recipes, like converting cherry bombs into gunpowder. Another one that's more character related is that, if Lacie likes the player, she can share her (slightly alcoholic) fruit drink recipe, because she despises both pre-war soft drink brands.
If anyone has any ideas for other things, feel free to share them, although I'd say keep it somewhat thematic. Like, "How about a crafting recipe that lets me turn a useless vacuum into scrap metal?" makes general sense as a mod, but doesn't have much to do with the character, whereas scavenging gunpowder absolutely does.
Also, I've written some dialogue for her where she offers her thoughts on how a person might aid the abandoned orphans of Freeside. (It involves giving them explosives to use on muggers.)

2024-08-18 20:24:57 +0000 UTCYeah, seconding that. If Lacie had a handful of recipes that serve as alternates for GRA ammo types, that'd be nice. Could go wild with it and do something like a recipe that converts missiles and .50MG to explosive .50MG, justify it by saying that the Boomers had plenty of missiles but needed to break some of them down for use in bullets? Could be a neat way of showing their craftiness. As an aside, I still dream about this one mod that added FRAG-12 rounds for shotguns, but I can't remember what it's called anymore.
