The seventies was a really cool time to grow up. It had a carefree fun aspect that many other generations didn’t enjoy. Obviywe all think the time we grew up was special. But the seventies….. the music was unbelievable any kind you like great movies and tv. But it was more than that we were the first generation in several that did not face being drafted into military service right out of high school and into wars in places like Korea or Viet Nam. By the mid eighties a conservative wave had swept across America and the freedoms of the 60s and 70s began to disappear. And we were before the internet social media and all that brings with it that forces kids to grow up into things we never thought of at a much younger age. Aside from getting older too fast I wouldn’t trade growing up in the seventies with anyone before or since.
