Great reaction…. I was crying with you both even though I’ve seen this movie several times.
I understand what Jay was saying that nobody said anything to defend John. The problem was that the only proof of his innocence was when he showed Tom Hanks character what really happened when he took John’s hand. I suppose John could’ve shown the judge that, but John was living with so much pain being an empath. He could probably feel the pain of those little girls and was drawn to them, but it was too late to save them.
By the way, It’s nice to see a man get emotional and cry during a movie. I don’t see that often enough. Thank you

I don't have time to watch this one right now (watched the Youtube one already, and it was great) but I will when I finish working for the day.
This is one of my favorite movies. I've seen it dozens of times, and it never gets easier, but it also never gets old. I can't imagine anyone playing John or Paul except Tom Hanks and the late Micheal Clark Duncan. Duncan left us too soon. Can't wait to watch the full reaction later.
