2023-08-21 22:54:52 +0000 UTCThis is a very fun movie, different than Ace Ventura. If you haven’t seen Truman Show, this should be your next Jim Carey movie. It’s a less silly movie, less comedic, and shows a different side of him. It’s a very endearing story.

2023-08-21 00:18:41 +0000 UTCI like The Mask better than the Ace Ventura movies. I love Peter Riegert inn this movie. My favorite Peter Riegert movies are Animal House (1978) and Oscar (1991). Animal House takes place in the 1960s. It's the first college party movie. It stars John Belushi(Bluto), Peter Riegert(Boon/Main Protagonist), Tim Matheson (Otter) and Mark Metcalf as Douglas Niedermeyer/Antagonist. Peter Riegert and Mark Metcalf are both in Oscar. Peter is Sylvester Stallone's butler/right handman while Mark Metcalf plays one of the shyster Bankers. Mark ,also reprised his Douglas Niedermeyer for the Twisted Sister music videos We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore and I Wanna Rock. In his first movie role Kevin Bacon played Chip Diller/pledge. Tim Matheson is plays the father of Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds) in National Lampoon's Van Wilder. Tim's character came across as a much older wiser Otter.

2023-08-20 23:26:43 +0000 UTCYes!!! 1 of my favorites (I'll comment again after I watch with yall), yall don't know, 1994 was the year of Jim Carrey, Ace Ventura, Dumb & Dumber & The Mask all made him an instant movie star, & he was already a TV star for In Living Color. He, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, & Whoopi Goldberg have these kinds of successes & superstardom that doesn't even exist in actors & comedians today
